Bing has just released a new service that is based on Silverlight called Visual Search. In this way, you can search based on predefined pictorial categories such as celebrities, politicians, animals, etc. Previously I saw a similar application in Google IO videos called Google Squared but as far as I feel Bing VS is more slicker. Everyone is happy and curious about this Bing thingy but this is not a whole story. I am working on an application for last couple of months that uses Live Search API for some ranking reasons and I was afraid whether these APIs are going to be redirected to new Bing API or not? Luckily I found out that Live Search APIs remains as what they were before and new Bing APIs are going to be accessed in a new place.
